Chef James Kent and commis Tom Allan, formerly of Eleven Madison Park in New York, New York, represented the United States at the 2011 Bocuse d’Or in Lyon, France, where they placed tenth.  Chef Kent was mentored by the Foundation’s Board of Directors, Chefs Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, and Jerome Bocuse, and Team USA coaches Chefs Gavin Kaysen and Mark Erickson of the Culinary Institute of America.   Chef Kent is currently employed as Executive Chef of chef Daniel Humm’s restaurant The Nomad in New York City.
