DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nJoel Buchman Charity Golf Classic | August 18-19\, 2024 \nOver the past decade\, our annual fundraiser has grown into an event that brings together golf\n \nand culinary excellence. \n \nTo celebrate this significant occasion\, this year’s event will feature delicious culinary experiences on and off the course. Enjoy a day on the course with Chefs Michael Anthony\, Daniel Boulud\, Gavin Kaysen\, Thomas Keller\, Alex Lee\, Bryan Noury\, Mathew Peters\, Jamie Simpson and Ming Tsai. After a great day of golf\, enjoy a cocktail reception hosted by Liberty National Golf Club Chef Stephen Yen\, Chefs Cesare Casella\, Eric Huang from Pecking House\, Jihan Lee from Nami Nori\, Helen Nguyen from Saigon Social\, Cosme Aguilar from Casa Enrique and Chefs Nicholas Castellana and John Kosmidis from Prime Foods Distributor.  \nEnjoy a special dinner in NYC followed by a day of golf at one of the premier golf courses in the country. This tournament is held in honor of Joel Buchman\, our General Counsel Emeritus\, who was dedicated to Ment’or’s programs and goals for building a strong network and community of young American cooks for the restaurant profession. \nYour support for this event follows in Joel’s steps and will provide aspiring culinarians access to unique educational opportunities\, a valued mentor network\, and support for Team USA for the upcoming 2025 Bocuse d’Or Finals in Lyon\, France. \nCocktails and Dinner at SAGA NYC | Sunday\, August 18\, 2024 \n \nChef James Kent was the Chef and Managing Partner of Saga Hospitality Group. Having overseen the kitchens of Eleven Madison Park and the NoMad restaurant\, he opened Crown Shy restaurant at 70 Pine Street\, followed by SAGA at the top of the same building on the 63rd floor with breathtaking views of the NYC skyline.
