Bocuse d’Or Team USA will compete in New Orleans at the 2024 Bocuse d’Or Americas Selection on June 12, 2024, the first time that the Americas Selection will be held in the United States!
Team USA will be competing against Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico and Venezuela. The competing teams will have 5 1/2 hours to complete two presentations: the theme on a plate and the platter theme. As is typical in the Bocuse d’Or finals, each team must use specific regional ingredients. For the platter, the Louisiana ingredients that must be incorporated are wild boar rack, alligator sausage and grits. The theme on a plate must feature local whole shrimp, oyster and lump crab meat on a plate.
