What about external or third party web sites?
What about security and data integrity?
As is appropriate for the nature of PII collected and stored by ment’or, the Site uses industry standard security measures or safeguards to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the PII under ment’or’s control. With respect to any stored PII, ment’or will also use commercially reasonable efforts to preserve such PII in its original form to the extent possible and as consistent with any processing that is directed by you or necessary for ment’or to provide the Site or its related solutions, programs, or services. Although ment’or has endeavored to create a secure and reliable Site, however, the confidentiality or integrity of any communication, data, or material transmitted via the Internet or stored with ment’or cannot be 100% guaranteed. Accordingly, you should consider carefully if you want to submit PII via the Internet.
What about "opting-out" of data collection and use?
The collection, use, and sharing of your PII may be necessary for ment’or to provide certain features, programs, events, resources and services made available on the Site, and to operate and/or improve the Site. For example, all users who register for an event, program or seminar, or purchase resources from ment’or on the Site, will need to agree to ment’or’s use and collection of PII. However, under other circumstances you can decide on your own if you wish to provide your PII or opt-out of doing so. For example, if ment’or conducts a survey on the Site, you do not have to participate unless you agree to do so.
Ment’or also provides you with the opportunity to opt-out of certain ment’or business practices where your PII may be used. Specifically, users may opt-out of including the PII they provide to ment’or in connection with the following activities: (i) inclusion in user postal mailings, (ii) e-mail communications sent by ment’or, (iii) facsimile communications sent by ment’or, (iv) particular advertising arrangements, and (v) certain sharing arrangements with ment’or’s business partners.
California Residents: Companies that collect PII from California residents and disclose such information to third parties (including affiliated entities) for marketing purposes must, in response to a request by a consumer, either (1) provide a list detailing the categories of information shared and the entities to which such information was provided, or (2) provide a mechanism by which a consumer may opt-out of having his or her information shared with third parties. ment’or has elected the second option, and you may request that your PII not be shared with third parties by sending your request, including your full name, email address and postal address, to Attn. Privacy, 16 East 40th Street, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10016. California residents are also entitled to know that they may file grievances and complaints with California Department of Consumer Affairs, 400 R Street, Suite 1080, Sacramento, CA 95814; or by phone at 916-445-1254 or 800-952-5210; or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.

In the event that ment’or receives such a request or change, ment’or may require you to confirm or verify any change to your record. Please note, however, that the collection and uses of certain PII is necessary to provide certain solutions or services through the Site and the deletion of such necessary information, e.g., an e-mail address, may render a particular solution or service or ment’or’s ability to provide it inoperable.

Although the Site is suitable for a general audience, the Site is intended for use only by users who are over 18 years of age.
